Fresh from cleaning up at the 2019 Australian Podcast Awards (an event neither Chat 10 Looks 3 host was available to attend due to the fact that they were live-broadcasting the federal election result all night and couldn’t even step out to answer the call of nature let alone celebrate with the jeroboam of champagne such a triumph would ordinarily mandate) Leigh Sales and Annabel Crabb have just recalled that some months back they recklessly booked one of Melbourne’s largest venues and consequently are obliged to turn up to Hamer Hall on November 1 and entertain up to two and a half thousand people.

“No problem,” says Sales. “I can just talk about the time I interviewed Paul McCartney! Or have I mentioned that already?” Crabb, white with fear, says nothing. She’s not frightened of the event. It’s just that at the most recent live show Sales made her dress up as Brian May from Queen and it was… well. You can imagine.
